Neglected parks and littered streets don’t just harm the environment—they weaken community spirit. That’s why AYDEPI volunteers roll up their sleeves to restore these spaces. Partnering with local leaders, we organize cleanups that do more than beautify; they inspire lasting change.

 

A Spotlight on Impact:
On March 29, 2025, an incredible team of Dreamers gathered at Federal Way High School for a massive cleanup effort. Students, families, and community members worked side by side, filling bags with waste, sorting recyclables, and even educating bystanders on sustainability. The result? A cleaner, safer campus—and proof that small actions create big ripples.

 

Restoring Our Ecosystems, One Tree at a Time

Trees are the lungs of our planet, and AYDEPI is on a mission to plant thousands of native trees in 2025. We carefully select species that thrive locally, boosting biodiversity, cooling urban areas, and fighting climate change. These trees aren’t just for today—they’re a gift to future generations.

Defending Trees from Hidden Threats

Did you know ivy can strangle a tree? While it looks harmless, invasive ivy blocks sunlight, steals nutrients, and can ultimately kill its host. AYDEPI’s youth are tackling this problem head-on, removing ivy from parks and teaching communities how to protect their green spaces.

Nurturing Growth for the Long Haul

Planting trees is just the beginning. Our teams mulch, water, and monitor young trees to ensure they survive and flourish. By using sustainable techniques—like moisture-retaining mulch and smart watering schedules—we’re giving these trees the best chance to grow strong.
