Stop Underage Drinking

We conducted a survey on youth between the ages of 14-20 years on their experience with alcohol. This survey reached 68 youth, and from the results, we understood the youth relationship with underage drinking. Community Dialogue

The year 2020 – 2021 has been a tough year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and therefore most community dialogues happened through webinars/zoom. In September 2021, AYDEPI, in Partnership with Outta the Box, conducted a one-day session dialogue comprised of several youth representatives from the two organizations, key community leaders, educators, navigators, and religious leaders.

Youth Education and Career Choices

AYDEPI has conducted virtual forums on Youth Education and Career choices with crucial community representatives, educators, professors, navigators, mentors, parents, and Youth. This is so important to advise young adults on navigating resources and choosing their jobs/career pathways. Most young African immigrants do not understand the American system or navigate proper resources to go to

King County Parks

With King County Parks once a month we gather a group of youth to Lake Geneva Park to work on restoration, and park improvements. Together we spend a couple hours working on restoring the park, and King County Parks also includes bits of environmental education in every event.

Road To Zero Youth Incarceration.

In partnership with Outta the Box we held our first ever annual Youth Summit.
